1. Who we are

The Neo Club is operated by AskNeo Inc., a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who sees it. Questions: hello@theneo.club

2. The short version

We do not sell your personal data. We never sell or rent member contact details. Member data and event attendee data are kept separate, and sponsors never receive member data.

3. What we collect

If you apply or become a member: your name, email, company, role, stage, LinkedIn profile, what you tell us in your application, and your billing records. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

If you attend an event: your name, email and the details you give when you register, plus whether you attended.

If you visit the website: standard technical information such as IP address, browser and pages viewed.

4. Membership data and event data are separate

We keep these two sets of information apart on purpose.

Membership data is used to run your membership. It is never shared with sponsors, never sold, and never included in any attendee list.

Event data is used to run that event. Anyone can attend our free events without being a member, and attending an event does not add you to any member list.

5. Sponsors and attendee lists

Sponsors at certain tiers act as co-hosts of events. As co-hosts they may receive the attendee list for the specific events they sponsor, which can include name, email, LinkedIn, job title, company and stage.

This applies only to people who register for those events, and only for those events. We tell attendees at registration when an event has a co-host. Sponsors are required to use the information only to follow up about that event and may not resell it or add people to unrelated marketing.

Sponsors never receive member data. Being a member does not put you on any sponsor list.

6. Photos, video and recordings

We photograph, film and record our events and sessions, and publish that material on social media, podcasts, video platforms, our website and in marketing. Images, video, audio and quotes that identify you are personal information, and we handle them under this policy. Members and attendees consent to this under our Terms of Service. Consent to this is a condition of membership and of entry to our events. If you would rather not appear, do not attend. We are not obliged to keep you out of shot or to remove material once captured, though we may do so at our discretion.

7. How we use information

To run memberships and events, take payment, send you things you asked for, respond to you, keep the Club safe, meet our legal obligations, and improve what we do.

8. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, including our payment processor, event ticketing platform, email and form tools, community messaging apps, and website hosting. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the Club, our members or the public.

9. Third party event and community platforms

We use third party platforms to run registration, ticketing, payments, community channels and content, including Luma, Eventbrite, LinkedIn Events, WhatsApp, Stripe, Google Forms, YouTube and our email platform.

When you register for an event or join a channel through one of these, you provide your information to that provider as well as to us, and their own privacy policy applies to what they do with it. They may set their own cookies and may keep records we do not control. We receive registration and attendance information back from them and handle it under this policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of platforms we do not operate.

10. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

11. How long we keep it

Membership records: for the length of your membership and up to three years afterwards. Applications that do not proceed: up to two years. Event records: up to three years. Financial records: as long as tax law requires, normally seven years.

12. Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing. Email hello@theneo.club and we will respond within the time the law allows. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, correct and opt out.

13. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

14. Cookies

Our site sets cookies. Some are necessary to make the site work and keep it secure. Others are set by our hosting provider to measure performance and by our email platform to recognise returning visitors. Embedded content such as videos, event pages and payment forms may set their own cookies, which are controlled by those providers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work properly.

15. Children

The Club is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

16. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell members by email.

17. Contact

hello@theneo.club

No solicitation. This address, and any address, form or channel published by the Club, is provided for members, applicants, event attendees, sponsors and press. It is not an invitation or consent to receive sales or marketing communications of any kind. Unsolicited vendor pitches, agency and recruitment outreach, cold sales email, automated messages, mass mailings and spam are expressly refused. Sending them creates no business relationship, confers no right to contact us again, and does not constitute acceptance of any terms you attach. We may block, delete and report such messages and recover any costs the law allows.
